Blue-light glasses.

Our Blue Light Lens Filter isn’t visible to the eye, but we promise you it’s there (and we’re very proud of it!).

What is blue-light ?

Blue light is exactly that: light with blue wavelengths that are emitted from our laptops, phones, some light bulbs, and even the sun!

Why can blue-light be bad for our eyes?

Blue light from computer screens and other devices can decrease contrast leading to digital eye strain. Fatigue, dry eyes, bad lighting, or how you sit in front of the computer can also contribute to eye strain. Symptoms of eyestrain include sore or irritated eyes and difficulty focusing.

Blue light can also contribute to difficulty falling asleep. This is because our bodies associate blue light with daytime, so being exposed to blue light when you’re trying to go to bed means that the body stops releasing a sleep hormone called melatonin. Melatonin is nature's way of helping us wind down and prepare for bed. This pushes our internal clocks later so that it’s harder to fall asleep.

What do blue light glasses look like ?

Our blue light coating is invisible to the eye, but it’s there! The only difference you'll notice is that the lenses have a slight bluish sheen when you put them in front of a light that emits blue light rays.
